How To Build A Successful Network Marketing Business Through The Internet
The Internet has expanded the horizons of network marketers. Before the Internet age, most aspiring network marketers were introduced to the business by friends or relatives. Building the network of customers, a key to a successful business, also needed hours of searching through directories, writing letters, and making phone calls. Now, with potential clients just a click away, network marketing through Internet has become a large part of any network marketing business.
A website is the cheapest way to introduce a large number of people to your network marketing business. Since people will see your site only if it visible on the search engines, you must use some tactics to get you website ranked high on search engines.
Building a Website
Discussed below are some of the ways to build and design your website.
1. Selecting Domain Name
Try to select a domain name with keywords in it. This improves the chance of your site showing up on search engines.
2. Web Hosting
Look for cheap web hosting services that also provide reliable services. You may need to experiment with different web hosting services before you get one that suits you.
3. Designing the Website
You need some software to design the website. Apart from design software, you need software to help link your site to other sites. While linking to sites, make sure that they offer quality content that is relevant to your business. Designing a website takes a lot of practice, but you can choose from some templates available online.
Advantages of using the Internet for Network Marketing
The explosion of online Network Marketing is due to the many advantages associated with it. Below is a list of the advantages.
1. No Need To Talk Face To Face
Through the Internet, you can approach millions of targeted buyers without having to talk to anyone individually. Your website does all the talking for you. This comes as a relief to those marketers who handle refusals and curt inquiries everyday.
2. Online Training
You can receive training and requisite guidance through the Internet. Teleconferencing and emails have made training cheaper and more accessible.
3. Flexible Timings
Network marketing through the Internet makes the dream of flexible timing come true. The Internet makes traveling and attending meetings at a distant site unnecessary, so you can operate your business from home. Many people who want to spend quality time with their family have jumped onto the Network Marketing bandwagon for this reason.
Additional Help
Your success as an internet network marketing professional depends on the number of people you can reach through your website, online advertisements, forums, online groups and threads. In case you are starting out with the business, you may need to consult a small business professional. After you have started with the online network marketing, you will find your business growing rapidly.

Quickstar Productions? Does this sound legit to you?
My band received an invitation yesterday to participate in a compilation cd these guys put together called 11th Hour Confession. The minute we got it we were skeptical and have been looking into it. If anyone else has ever gotten this same message or has any information about these guys, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Here is the message we recieved…
Hi,
I heard your song, “NEW Take Me With You COVER” and I am very impressed with it. We are currently working on a benefit compilation CD titled “11th hour confession”. It will feature emo artists from across the scene. I believe that your song would be a perfect fit on this project and I would be honored to have you take part.
My name is Joe Bird, and I am a project manager with Quickstar Productions, as well as a musician. Quickstar Productions is a company that specializes in designing music-marketing campaigns and supplying digital distribution services for record labels and independent artists. In 2005, Quickstar Productions released its first Comp CD as a way to promote unsigned artists. This CD was extraordinarily successful in accomplishing its mission! Over the years the company has built off that success and perfected a marketing plan to maximize exposure for the artist. Quickstar Productions is based out of Baltimore, MD and is an active member of the Maryland Better Business Bureau.
“11th Hour Confessions” is a CD designed to raise money and awareness for the charity called, To Write Love On Her Arms. They are a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those that need help with depression, addiction, and suicide, find help. Over the past few years they have been able to help thousands.
We really want this CD to benefit those affected by depression, self injury and suicidal intentions, but we also want it to be advantageous to the artists on it as well. Therefore we have designed a complete marketing plan for the CD. “11th Hour Confessions” will be marketed and made available in the following ways:
1. PHYSICAL SALES: You will receive 50 copies of the CD to sell at whatever price you choose. These will be professionally produced, retail ready CD’s. We recommend selling them for $8. That way you can make $400. You keep 100% of your sales. This is a great way to get more merchandise to sell at your shows and also a way to target other fans in your genre. The idea is that when each artist sells their 50 copies, the other artists on the CD will have their music exposed to other fans of your genre of music. Therefore, your song will be exposed to many new listeners.
2. DIGITAL SALES: The compilation will be made available for sale in all digital stores including iTunes, Rhapsody, Wal-Mart, Napster, and Amazon. Your song will also be available as a ringtone that your fans may purchase. You will receive 50% of profits generated.
3. EXPOSURE: The CD will be sent to record labels, marketing, and management firms. Along with the CD, a booklet featuring your picture and bio will be made available so they can learn a little bit more about you. In addition, free promo copies will be handed out at concerts in the Baltimore/Washington area. Quickstar Productions will also promote the album through the use of MySpace.
4. RADIO: The CD will be sent to college and internet radio stations and be featured on various podcasts throughout the world.
5. NETWORKING: Developing a network with other musicians is key to ones success. This comp CD is a chance to do so. You will be provided with all the other artists’ information before the CD is released so that you can start show swapping with one another, networking and helping each other out.
To have your song included on our upcoming compilation CD please visit our website, Quickstarproductions com, to download the submission forms. We do not charge a fee to be on “11th Hour Confession” but we do ask that you purchase 50 CD’s to distribute at cost ($165). That way we can cover the costs of the project so that as large of portion of the proceeds can be donated as possible. This will be the only cost to you. One of the most important parts of this project is getting the CD into the hands of fans. The more CD’s that you are able to distribute the more exposure everyone gets.
Please check out www QuickstarProductions com for more info on this compilation. Since we plan to release this CD as soon as possible, we ask that all submissions be returned by March 15th. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions. We appreciate your interest in helping To Write Love On Her Arms help others.
Rock on,
Joe Bird

I don’t know man… don’t sign anything… I wouldn’t do it to make money but better yet for exsposure. I was approached by someone similar to put my music on a canada label complication… I did it but not for money just to have the exposure. I play local clubs or venues and sell my own tunes.
Dude take your recorded tracks to local clubs adn bars and hand it the manager and with your myspace address or phone number on it and tell him to call you to book your band for a show. Go hand out about 20 of them and BAM!

AVOID! Very suspect.. don’t do it kid!

They have a very professional website and have all their office details on their contact page.
There seems to be quite a few underground bands that have signed with them and it might be an awesome way to get your name out. TBH its $165 total cost to you and you get a song on a CD that will probably be promoted to other teenagers/young adults which might promote your band quite nicely.
Might be best to talk to "Joe" by calling him and saying your interested and will be more then happy to pay the $165 once you get the CD’s… or maybe if you can hear some of the other songs on the CD first to make sure your band will actually be noticed on the CD or if its just random shit mashed onto a CD in the hopes of getting your $165.
Might be better off taking your 165 and promoting your band to local pubs and clubs and trying to get on the stage.
If it does look like a good CD, its only $40 bucks per person and if you do sell your 50 CD’s, even for 5 bucks each, then your going to be up 75 dollars and have some promotion around the country.

It’s a scam, pyramid scheme……that company is run by the former owners of Amway. Every band with a myspace get these invites daily. Google the company name and research it.

I went to their website, got their address, and put it into Google Earth. The address is on a residential street. If they were as big as they say they are, I would think that they would have a real office. It’s very strange for someone worth doing business with. I wouldn’t trust it if I were you.

its actually legit.
I did work with them for the chill out acoustic compilation CD international volume 3. It was the first time they have approached canadian artists to be on the cd, and i was one of the first. its currently in shipping and on its way to me, its a lenghty process, but its an exposure thing. not a scam, I’m also going to be on a show called "A" morning to talk about the chill out cd.
I joe also contacted me to be on the 11th hour cd.
listen, both of my managers have spoken with the guy, i spoke to him personally,
and i think its a descent experience…
I’m going to be doing the 11th hour confessions cd, everything is due by march 15th.
Its not QuickStar thats been a part of the scam.
it was quixtar.
there is a difference. Joe works with people that usually end up going on the warped tour. only up comming artists/ people that have a future in the business are usually approached for this too. not everyone gets them.

Does anyone else think tiffany sounds like she is affiliated with quickstar beyond her music?
